HOME GAME THURSDAY!!

Call your uncles, cousins. Leave notes on your neighbor's door. Come see the Revolution in their next home game Thursday, Sept. 27 against Temple Christian Academy from Waterville. The new VCS Snack Shack is nearing completion and we'll have pizza, hot dogs, gatorade, chips, and more.

Come out, get a snack and lose your voice.

Game starts at 4:30 p.m.

Revolution Improves agains OVCS

The first time around against OVCS the Knights dominated at both ends of the field en route to a 7-2 victory.

Tuesdays game in Limerick was an entirely different story. The Revolution came out strong and held the Knights strong offense scoreless for the first 22 minutes of the game. After gaining some momentum and going up 3-0 at half time, the VCS Revolution stepped up their offense and scored twice within the first 15 minutes of the second half.

With 7 minutes to go in the game, VCS trailed by a single goal. OVCS scored late in the half to go up 4-2 and held off a flurry of Revolution shots to end the game.

RIDES to OVCS

The Varsity team has an away game at OVCS on Tuesday. There is a very important meeting with Pastor Phil and all parents are encouraged to attend. If you've already decided you're not going and could provide a ride for players, let me know (you can post a comment or email me). Otherwise, I'm looking to borrow or rent a 15 passenger van for the game. Continue to pray about convenient transportation to and from games (like a bus!!).

MONDAY PRACTICE

Both the JV and Varsity will be practicing Monday from 2:45-4:30.

VCS Improves Again!!

The Varsity team played an incredibly inspired second half in their 4-0 loss Thursday versus Central Maine Christian Academy, putting 14 shots on net. Although none found the goal, VCS dominated play for 35 of the 40 minutes in the second half. The team is moving the ball well and we look to improve our play as we head to Ossippee Valley next Tuesday.
More pictures coming soon!
