VCS Revolution Takes Game to the Wire

Tuesday 10/09 was the hardest fought game the Revolution have played to date as the took the athletic Temple Academy team to the wire in Waterville en route to a 2-1 loss.

The Revolution took the lead 1-0 twelve minutes into the first half on a Jaida Ross goal assisted by Shonah Russell. The VCS team played solid defense until Temple took advantage of a miscue and tied the game in the 29th minute.

The game remained tied until about the 60th minute. Despite several near scores and surviving a penalty kick, the Revolution were not able to tie the game up, resulting in the closest loss this year.

The final home game of the season is Wednesday 10/10 versus Temple Academy at 4:00. Come cheer them on to victory.
