VCS Revolution Takes Game to the Wire

Tuesday 10/09 was the hardest fought game the Revolution have played to date as the took the athletic Temple Academy team to the wire in Waterville en route to a 2-1 loss.

The Revolution took the lead 1-0 twelve minutes into the first half on a Jaida Ross goal assisted by Shonah Russell. The VCS team played solid defense until Temple took advantage of a miscue and tied the game in the 29th minute.

Come out, get a snack and lose your voice.

Game starts at 4:30 p.m.

Revolution Improves agains OVCS

The first time around against OVCS the Knights dominated at both ends of the field en route to a 7-2 victory.

Tuesdays game in Limerick was an entirely different story. The Revolution came out strong and held the Knights strong offense scoreless for the first 22 minutes of the game. After gaining some momentum and going up 3-0 at half time, the VCS Revolution stepped up their offense and scored twice within the first 15 minutes of the second half.

With 7 minutes to go in the game, VCS trailed by a single goal. OVCS scored late in the half to go up 4-2 and held off a flurry of Revolution shots to end the game.
